Human-Driven Bone ECM
Where science meets innovation
Human bone graft is ubiquitously used in orthopaedic and dental practices. It can be used in the form of solid blocks or powder state as a filler or flap to encourage bone formation in bone tissue cavity. Our Human-Driven Bone ECM is available in pulverised condition with average particle size of 200µm. This product is de-cellularized and screened for viral, fungal, or bacterial residues. The powder can be used as an additive to building ingredients of tissue engineering scaffolds to increase bone morphogenic properties of the construct or makes the mechanical properties of the scaffold closer to natural bone mechanical properties. The particles are mainly constructed from Calcium and Phosphate mineral particles which can be found in human natural bone tissue. The particles are inert to being dissolved in aqueous or most of organic solvents and can be dispersed in the media before processing.
